About Patricia Miragliotta Patricia decided on a ‘third career’ following 13 years of staying home and raising 3 boys. A previous educational background in Advertising & Promotion and Radio Television Arts no longer appealed and the pressure was on from friends to do what came to her naturally – decorating! So following a few more years of study and graduation with straight A’s, a new career began with the opening of her first company “The Best By Design”. Cut to three years later, her favourite window coverings shop “Blind Images” was closing and she had “another calling”. Despite a reticent husband, she bought the store and threw herself blindly (yes, pun intended) into hands on learning of the very technical, complicated, stressful but thoroughly enjoyable retail world of window coverings. Over the next 10 years, Patricia changed the shop’s name to “Interior Images” to encompass the store’s expanding repertoire, including full service Interior Design and Decorating along with Furniture & Accessories. Oh and by the way, after the first year and seeing the road to her success, the husband decided on a second career of his own and came to work for - sorry - with his smart and successful wife. Interior Images rose to the top of the decorating stores in the city, with a reputation for quality, professionalism and caring service. During these same 10 years, Patricia added to her busy days by working as the Interior Designer for Coscan-Brookfield and Muirfield Construction for three years, and as well, along with her husband and another partner started a new development company called “Dreamworks Developments”. Patricia continues her passion for Design and Decorating and is in her 17th year of devoting herself to fulfilling her client’s most exigent expectations. |
